My name Lisa and I am the mother of two adult children, two fur-babies and a nana to almost 4 grand-babies.  My husband and I have been exploring life and our world together since 1987.

We live in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia, Canada.

You’ll notice there is also a journey of a different kind on my site. In 2018, I embarked on a personal journey with my DNA. It started as a curiosity and evolved into more than I ever could have hoped.

The best part of any adventure, including life, is the journey.  I believe you should treasure every moment no matter how big or small it may be.

Live in the moment, tomorrow will come and today will be yesterday. Time doesn’t stop so we have to make the most of what we have.
