Quebec Road Trip

In the summer of 2015 my husband and I decided to do a road trip to old Quebec City.  It is one of those places you should put on your bucket list if it isn’t already there.

It is a long day of driving to get through from Nova Scotia to the province of Quebec.  So on day 1 we just made it across the border to Degelis where we stayed at the Motel Claude.  Great spot for an overnight stay.

The town itself was very nice and the people very friendly.  Not a lot of English spoken here but they made every effort to understand us and my limited French.  We headed out early the next morning so we could get to old Quebec as early as possible.  Quebec is a very scenic province.

Old Quebec was beautiful.  Absolutely loved it!  Next time it would be nice to stay at the Chateau Frontenac.  We ate at a couple of pubs and it was yummy!

We stayed at the Hotel Classique, which was fantastic.  Great view!

Our room was ready immediately so we went to the Aquarium.  Pretty neat.  The bear made me kind of sad though.  He looked so unhappy.

We arrived just in time for the end of the fireworks festival.  Great timing!

Loved Quebec and will definitely be back!  Here are some more Quebec pictures and some pictures from our drive through New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.  Enjoy!
