Ah 2022, what a year you were! From what happened to my mother to what happened to my brother, you really didn’t make it an easy one to get through.
But for all the bad there was plenty of good that saved you.
From the critters that make me smile.

To the beautiful sights around us every day.

And spending time with family and friends.

You made sure we had plenty to enjoy as well.
Now, I am not going to say that I was sad to see 2022 go but…We’re ready for 2023! Here’s hoping we see a better year not just for us, but for the world at large. I’ve promised myself to get back to regular blogging in 2023!
A side note about the extortion experience my mother went through. As I mentioned in those posts the Bank of Montreal was exceptional to deal with while the Royal Bank was a nightmare. They basically did a lot of victim shaming versus admitting to their failure to protect their client. I have a friend who had an older relative go through a similar situation with the same two banks. Again the Bank of Montreal was exceptional to deal with Royal Bank, not so much. If you are an RBC customer you really should have a conversation with them about how they are protecting you, your loved ones and your money. Personally in good conscience I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.
